Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty - Through Time
The history of Westchester's premier real estate firm
1744
Sotheby's Auction House
Sotheby’s fine arts auction house was founded in 1744, and quickly earned a reputation as a renowned marketer of some of the world’s most valuable and prestigious possessions. Sotheby’s built this brand equity as much on exceptional service to clients as on the notable art, antiques, jewelry and other holdings handled by Sotheby’s auction locations around the world.
1953
Julia B. Fee: Committed to the Community
Julia B. Fee founded her namesake firm in 1953 with a staff of one – herself. Ahead of her time and a dedicated professional, she built a successful real estate firm while working tirelessly for local organizations and causes. Julia B. Fee's business philosophy of an unmatched service experience and community expertise lives on at the firm today.
1976
An Extraordinary Brand
In 1976, Sotheby’s International Realty was formed when Sotheby’s recognized the need to offer their clients a complete package of estate services and marketing. Sotheby’s International Realty was founded on the same commitment to exceptional service that characterized the fine arts auction house.
